For use with HUUM HIVE Series wood-burning sauna stoves, the stone cage is mounted above the stove, surrounding the flue, and filled with sauna stones. The stone cage holds an additional 88lbs of sauna stones (sold separately) that radiate heat for extra thermal efficiency and adds more stone surface area for creating steam.

Thanks to the added stones, the surface for pouring water significantly increases, and that means less hot metal surfaces, that we wish to keep minimal in the sauna.  The stone cage filled with sauna stones is also a decorative element matching with the sauna heater. Stone cages can be installed on top of each other.
